20/43 Dove Planning Application
A copy letter has been received from a Parishioner sent to Wiltshire Council regarding the proposed felling of conifers on the boundary between their property and the Dove Inn. The Parishioner's query is whether the trees are on their property or on the land that the Dove Inn has recently acquired. This matter will be addressed in the Planning Section of the Meeting.
20/44 Leylandii by Dove
An email has been received from a Parishioner regarding the felling of a line of conifers (number unknown) at the Dove Inn apparently without proper Planning consent. They are concerned that this has happened in a Conservation Area. They also query the intended use of the newly acquired plot of land. This will be addressed in the Planning Section of the Meeting.
20/45 Speeding in the Village
An email has been received from a Parishioner pointing out that many vehicles are still driving too fast. The Parishioner states that this matter has been brought up several times before and asks that Wiltshire Council be contacted regarding the safety of pedestrians.
Cllr Treherne informed the Cllrs that there is no Community Speedwatch service available at the moment due to COVID19 and that evidence of speeding vehicles would be desirable.
3. DECLARATIONS of INTEREST
20/46 Cllr Treherne wished it to be noted that his brother-in-law works for the Dove Inn.
4. APPROVAL of MINUTES
20/47 The Minutes of the Meeting held on 19th August, 2020 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.
5. MATTERS ARISING
20/48 The Finger Post in Corton. This is addressed in the Infrastructure Report however Cllr Garratt suggested that the AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) might be contacted for assistance.

20/49 The Boyton Bus Shelter. Cllr Treherne will re-check the condition

20/50 The Parish Council Website. There is currently a problem with this. A new website has to be created. Stockton Parish Council uses a free website provider and this company will be contacted for the creation of a new Parish Council website.

20/51 Corton Phone Box. A quote has been received for the refurbishment. The Treasurer felt that 2 further quotes should be submitted.
